Mu Tianmiao is the founder of The Order, honoured with the title of the Nether Lord. He is one of the most important figures in the Phantom Blade series, the adoptive father of Soul and Zuo Shang and the father of Mu Xiaokui — the man who built The Order and ruled it.

Mu Tianmiao, founder of The Order, honoured as the Nether Lord. He is a leader of great presence and intelligence who, on nerve and strategy alone, built the strongest assassins’ order in the Phantom World. Mu Tianmiao is the adoptive father of Soul and Zuo Shang, and the father of Mu Xiaokui.
Background
In his youth Mu Tianmiao travelled the Wulin and saw how dark and how rotten the Wulin was. He set himself the goal of building an organization that could change the order of the Wulin, and founded The Order. Under him it grew fast into the strongest power in the Phantom World. Mu Tianmiao took in orphans — Soul and Zuo Shang among them — and raised them into The Order’s core. He was killed by his own hand in Cloud Terrace massacre at Yecheng, arranged by Zuo Shang, and The Order fell into internal war.
